It was a beautiful morning at the HK8 garden. Bumble bees were buzzing in the pumpkin blossoms and hummingbirds were courting around the plum trees that we planted on Earth Day. These small wonders occur here now, in what was the demolished tennis court site.
After I harvested the flowers and herbs (and Penelope took a last few runs on the red slide) we met Sarah and Ian Marshall at our first farmers market of the 2015 season. There was a steady stream of costumers and we sold most of the produce we had. And (I think) we had the cutest vendors on the lot!
